GIVE YOUR CHILD THE BEST START IN LIFE!
AGDA’s Kindergym Krew Instructor’s ensure that each programs equipment set-ups are safe, stimulating and provide endless movement opportunities for your child to play and learn. Kindergym Krew programs also assist in your child’s development, co-ordination and self-esteem.
AGDA’s Kindergym Krew Program is founded on child development principles and focused of a steady progression to our recreational gymnastics program Progressions To Purpose.
It promotes the child as the key focal point and involves active participation of the child’s mother, father or carer. When the child has reached the Platypus level of AGDA’s Kindergym Krew we ask for the parents to progressively step back and allow the child to become use to the Teacher/student dynamics. Thus helping with the transition to school.

The Kindergym Krew syllabus is a step by step skill progression program aimed at teaching:-
- gymnastics skills
- fine and gross motor skills
- aide the development of visual tracking
- develop strength and endurance for everyday activities (hand grip for holding a pencil)
At an age appropriate and skill level for each little gymnast.
Each little gymnast receives a record booklet with the skills they are learning in their program.
During the Term the coaches assess the little gymnast during class time and records it in each participants record booklet. When the booklet is completed the little gymnast is ready to move to the next program. When your little gymnast moves to the next award not only do they receive a little certificate, you can also purchase their own special badge for the level they have successfully passed.
This syllabus is designed to be able to teach gymnastics skills correctly in a fun, stress free, challenging environment.
The Kindergym Krew program has a theme lesson each term; this is a great time to bring along a friend to participate in the program or invite Family members to come see how well your little gymnast is going!
Not only is this a great learning time for children to improve on strength, co-ordination, social skills, it’s also a great education lesson for parents on how to spot the child on the equipment.
Please note:- If you have younger children they will have to be supervised by a parent and or guardian and cannot participate in the program unless enrolled for the safety of all we do offer a play pen to help assist AGDA parent’s. This is used at Parents own risk and supervision. Only enrolled members are covered by insurance. It’s a mixed gender class with no more than eight children per coach. All Kindergym Krew gymnasts must purchase an AGDA T shirt to wear whilst training for safety and to help make all gymnasts feel part of the TEAM!
Platypus’s ages 4yrs to 5yrs

This is the only Kindergym Krew program where the parents are not required on the follow with the little gymnast. The child learns to use all the apparatus in the gym as well as:
