Hello, and welcome to the Australasian Gymnastics and Dance Academy’s web site. All of our staff members are wonderful, qualified people who are dedicated to the Academy’s primary goal of providing a safe, happy and challenging experience in the art of gymnastics and dance for all who become involved with us.

I entered the wonderful world of gymnastics at the tender age of 2 years. At the grand age of 6 years I started dancing tuition. From dance, aged 15 years, my life lead me into the martial art of Ju-Jitsu. It was in this field that I completed at State and National titles, achieving 1st placing at the National titles in 1993 and 1994.

There was a brief period in my life whereby I had to set aside my love for gymnastics, dance and the martial arts, to focus on an income. I undertook various forms of employment which included working in the Qld Police Service. However, over time I soon came to realize that the urge to return to my love of the arts was extremely powerful. I set out to seek the ideal situation whereby I could continue my involvement in my favourite arts and provide for myself financially. Hence the birth of AGDA.

To those who become involved with our Academy, I offer the assurance that every effort is made to provide the participant with an opportunity to experience many enjoyable memories. However, be warned….. like so many of us you too may become addicted or hooked on the love of gymnastic and dance.
